✨ Fun Spin on Digital and Printable 4 Corners ✨ Get to know your students through this fun twist on the classic 4 corners. This First Day Would You Rather Icebreaker is the Perfect Virtual Back to School Activity that can be used in the Distance Learning Classroom, the traditional classroom, or even a hybrid! Students will LOVE creating their own "In My Corner Slide," a fun spin on the classic Four Corner Back to School Game. In this all about me this or that game, students will also enjoy interacting and CONNECTING with their classmates using the questions they thought of! You are going to LOVE it!

This Back to School Bell Ringer goes beyond the basic get-to-know-you questions like 'What's your favorite food? What's your favorite color?' to facilitate a connection between you and your upper-grade students.

When teaching this lesson, you can model each step, thus allowing your students to get to know you and form connections with you. Students can easily use this no-prep beginning of the year activity because the templates have placeholders for the images to be easily inserted without any cropping or confusion.

This product was created in Google Slides and can easily be edited or assigned in Google Classroom or Canvas. A printable worksheet is also included so that this first-day activity can be easily customizable for any classroom situation.

Printable/PDF Version: If using this would you rather game as a traditional Four Corners Get to Know You Game, students will create a slide with a question of their choice (I've included examples to help students brainstorm). You can then project the slides in your classroom, and students will move to the corners of the room to show their responses.

​

Digital/Hybrid Version: Students will create a fun game piece to reflect their personality and an "In My Corner" Slide if used as a digital product. Students will use their game piece to show their response to each question by where they place it on the slide! Such a fun way to interact and connect digitally.
